How do I restore Chrome settings to default?

Restoring the default settings of the Google Chrome browser helps solve many problems associated with operational failures, intrusive advertising, unexpected changes to the search engine, or incorrect behavior of extensions. This feature returns the browser settings to their original state, as if you had just installed it on a clean operating system, while protecting your personal data.
