How to change the default search engine in mobile browsers on Android and iOS?

The default search engine determines which service processes queries entered directly into the address bar of your mobile browser. Although many users are accustomed to Google, changing the search engine to Yandex, DuckDuckGo, Bing, or Yahoo may be necessary to increase privacy levels or get more relevant regional results.

In the mobile version of Google Chrome, the process of changing the search engine takes only a few seconds. Open the app, tap the three-dot icon in the upper right corner of the screen, and go to settings. For Apple device users in the iOS environment, the configuration procedure is integrated into the general system ecosystem.
