How to block annoying browser ad notifications on Android?

Many Android smartphone owners face a situation where promotional messages of a dubious nature regularly appear on the lock screen or in the notification panel. Most often, the source of this problem is allowed push notifications from random sites you visited earlier in your mobile browser. You can disable such intrusive advertising in just a few minutes through the settings of the web surfing program itself.

If you use the most popular browser, Google Chrome, open it on your device and tap the three-dot icon in the upper right corner of the screen. In the drop-down context menu, select Settings. Scroll down the parameter list to the Advanced section and go to the Site settings submenu.

In the opened list, find the Notifications category. Here you will see a full list of internet resources that are allowed to send you messages. Review this list, find unfamiliar or suspicious sites, tap their names, and select the Block or Clear permission option to get rid of unwanted advertising mailing forever.
