How to configure site notifications and block annoying pop-ups in the browser?

Modern websites often request permission to send pop-up notifications, which can be very distracting and clutter the desktop. Configuring alert settings allows you to completely control this process and keep only truly important information sources.

To change these parameters, open the main program menu and go to the settings section, usually called privacy and security. Then find the site settings management item and select the notifications subsection.

Here you can set a global ban on sending any requests from new resources. To do this, switch the toggle to a position where sites cannot request permission to send messages.

If you need to receive notifications only from specific services, such as email clients or messengers, add their address to the allowed list manually. For resources already added to the blacklist, there is an option to completely delete them or change access rights.

In addition to system notifications, it is important to configure the blocking of pop-up windows and automatic redirects. In the same section of site parameters, find the corresponding item and activate it to protect yourself from unwanted advertising and phishing pages while surfing the internet.
