How do I change the Chrome interface language?

Changing the interface language in the Google Chrome web browser makes web surfing more comfortable and understandable. This procedure is useful if the program was installed in a foreign language by default or if you want to learn a new language by immersing yourself in the language environment. The configuration process takes only a couple of minutes and does not require installing additional programs or restarting the operating system.

The first step is to go to the browser's system menu. Click on the three-dot icon in the upper right corner of the screen and select Settings. In the opened tab, pay attention to the left sidebar, where you need to find and open the Languages section.

In the opened section, you will see the current interface language and a list of preferred languages. If the option you need is not there, click on the Add languages button. A long list of available languages from all over the world will appear in front of you, where you can find and check the desired option.

After adding the language to the general list, you must activate it for the interface. Click on the three dots next to the added language and select Display Google Chrome in this language. Please note that a full browser restart is required for the changes to take effect, so save your important data before clicking the Relaunch button.
