How to manage vertical tabs in the Brave browser for convenient work with a large number of pages?

The vertical tabs feature in the Brave browser allows you to change the traditional layout of tabs from horizontal to vertical, placing them as a panel on the left side of the screen. This is especially useful when working with a large number of open pages simultaneously on monitors with a wide aspect ratio.

To activate vertical tabs, go to the browser settings, select the Appearance section, and find the block responsible for tab management. You can also right-click any tab on the top panel and select Turn on vertical tabs.

After activating the feature, the familiar tab bar will move to the left part of the screen, where site names and their icons will be displayed as a neat vertical list. You can collapse this panel into a narrow strip showing only icons to free up maximum space for viewing web pages.

Vertical tabs greatly simplify the search for the desired resource by displaying full page names and grouping related tabs. You can still use familiar keyboard shortcuts to switch between pages, move them with the mouse, and create groups to structure information.
