How to set up Hot Corners for quick access to features in macOS?
The Hot Corners feature in macOS allows you to assign system actions to a simple mouse pointer movement into one of the four corners of the screen. This is a convenient way to quickly lock the screen, bring up the desktop, launch Launchpad, or open the Notification Center without pressing key combinations or navigating menus.
To configure hot corners, open System Settings via the Apple menu, go to Desktop & Dock, scroll all the way down, and click the Hot Corners button at the bottom of the window. You will see a monitor diagram with four drop-down menus corresponding to the corners of the screen.

To prevent accidental triggers while working, you can tie the activation of corners to modifier keys. To do this in the Hot Corners setup menu, hold down the Shift, Control, Option, or Command keys before selecting the desired action from the list, and the feature will then trigger only when that key is held down simultaneously.
