How to configure and use two-tier tab stacks in Vivaldi?

Multi-row tab stacking is a unique development by the Vivaldi team that solves the problem of tab bar overcrowding when working with dozens of open pages simultaneously. Unlike standard shrinking or scrolling, this feature allows you to organize tabs into visual groups across two or independent levels.

To enable this feature, go to the browser settings in the Tabs section and find the control block for the appearance of the tab bar. Check the box next to the option for displaying tabs in multiple rows or on two levels, choosing the most convenient layout option for your screen.

After activating the feature, when you combine tabs into stacks or open new pages from the same group, they begin to display on an additional row below the main panel. This provides clarity, makes it easy to manage a large amount of open content, and eliminates the need to squint at tiny site icons.
