How to enable and configure dark mode for websites in the Opera browser?

Modern users often spend a lot of time in front of the screen in the evening, so a dark theme for the interface and web pages has become a standard necessity. The Opera browser has a built-in page forced dark mode tool that works even on sites where developers have not provided their own dark mode. This helps reduce eye strain and save battery power on mobile devices or laptops.

To use this feature, you need to go to the main browser settings. Click on the gear icon on the sidebar or select Settings from the main menu. In the left column, go to the Basic section or scroll down to the appearance block, where the dark theme toggle is located.

To force dark mode on all web pages, find the option Enable dark themes for all sites.
