How to use the "Multiple Users" mode on Android to separate personal and work spaces?

The multi-user mode feature on Android allows you to create isolated profiles on a single device. Each user gets their own independent space with a personal set of apps, display settings, browser history, and personal Google accounts. This is convenient if a single smartphone is used by family members or for a clear separation of work and leisure.

To add a new user, open the general phone settings and go to the System or Security & privacy section, depending on the manufacturer. Find the Multiple users or Users & accounts option. Make sure the toggle for creating new profiles is enabled, and then click the add user button.

The system will warn you that the new user will need to set up their profile after logging in. Confirm the creation of the account, after which the device will prompt you to switch to it immediately or do so later from the lock screen. Switching between profiles takes just a few seconds and does not require restarting the entire operating system.

It is important to note that the owner of the main profile has full control over the device. The administrator can delete secondary accounts along with all their data, as well as configure access to phone calls and SMS sending for each additional profile. At the same time, files saved in one profile remain completely invisible to another user.
