How to clear the cache of a specific app on Android if it is not working correctly?

Over time, many mobile programs begin to lag, crash, or take up too much space in the device's internal memory. One of the most common causes of such issues is an overflowing cache, where temporary data files are stored. To fix the problem without a complete reinstallation of the software, you need to go to the smartphone's system settings.

First, open the main settings menu and go to the application management section, which is usually called Apps or See all apps. In the opened list, find the program that is causing operational failures and tap on its name to go to the detailed information screen. Here you will see several useful buttons to manage this software.

Find and open the Storage or Storage & cache subsection. You will see two different cleaning options: Clear cache and Clear storage. Tap the Clear cache button to delete only temporary files without affecting your personal settings, accounts, and saved passwords. If this step did not help solve the problem, you can use a more radical method and erase all app data, returning it to its initial state.
