How to use the Vivaldi downloads panel for efficient file management?

The downloads panel in Vivaldi is a flexible tool for controlling downloaded files, which can be placed in a convenient location in the interface. Unlike standard pop-up windows in other browsers, this panel can be pinned to the sidebar of the screen or opened as a full-fledged tab, providing a detailed history of all your downloads with sorting and quick search capabilities.

To open the downloads panel, click the downward arrow icon on the browser sidebar or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl plus Shift plus D. A list of all the files you have downloaded while using the profile will open in front of you. The interface allows you to instantly see the download status, data transfer speed, exact file size, and the path to the directory on your hard drive.

For convenient file management, use the built-in search bar at the top of the panel. If you need to find a specific document downloaded a week ago, simply enter its name or extension. The browser will instantly filter the list by keywords, saving you from having to manually scroll through the entire download history.

The panel also provides convenient tools for clearing and re-downloading. If a file was deleted from the computer but remained in the history, you can click the re-download button directly from the panel interface. And to keep things tidy, use the clear history button, which deletes download records without affecting the actual files saved on your hard drive.
