How to clear cache, cookies, and browsing history in the Brave browser?

Regularly clearing cached data, cookies, and browsing history is an important procedure to maintain high browser performance, free up disk space, and protect your privacy when using a shared computer.

To open the data clearing tool, press the Ctrl plus Shift plus Delete shortcut on the Windows operating system or Command plus Shift plus Delete on macOS. An alternative method is to navigate through the settings menu to the privacy and security section, where the required button is located.

In the dialog box that appears, select the time range for deleting data, ranging from the last hour to the complete deletion of all time since the profile was created. Then check the boxes next to the types of data you want to erase, such as browsing history, cookies, cached images, and files.

Be careful when deleting cookies, as this will log you out of accounts on most websites you visit. After selecting all the necessary parameters, click the Clear data button and wait a few seconds for the cleaning process to complete.
