How to set up and use web panels for constant access to your favorite services in Vivaldi?

Web panels in Vivaldi allow you to pin any sites to the browser sidebar, turning them into constantly accessible widgets. This feature is useful for working with messengers, email clients, hosting control panels, or documentation, as it eliminates the need to switch between tabs and keep extra windows open on the taskbar.

To add a new site to the sidebar, open the desired web page in a regular tab. Then, click the plus icon on the browser sidebar or use the keyboard shortcut to bring up the add menu. The address of the current page will automatically appear in the pop-up window, and you will only need to confirm the addition by clicking the corresponding button.

After adding, the site will appear on the sidebar as a neat icon. Clicking this icon opens the mobile or adaptive version of the site in a narrow column to the left or right of your main workspace. You can interact with the site in the exact same way as in a full-sized tab, read messages, manage tasks, or check for updates.

For maximum convenience, web panels can be customized individually. Right-click on any web panel icon and select Panel Settings. There, you can enable mobile view mode for sites that do not scale well to narrow windows, allow audio playback, or set up automatic updating of page content at a specified time interval.
