How to use vertical tabs in Edge?

Using vertical tabs in the Microsoft Edge browser is a modern approach to workspace organization, which is especially convenient for owners of wide-aspect-ratio monitors. The feature allows you to move the traditional horizontal tab bar to the left sidebar, which significantly makes it easier to read page titles when you have a large number of them open.

To activate vertical tabs, you just need to follow a few simple steps. The fastest way is to use the special tab management icon located in the very top left corner of the browser window, which looks like a rectangle with a vertical bar.
